A pair of vintage 1950's/1960's Danish modern hand-turned teak candleholders

These teak candlesticks were manufactured by hand during the 50's or 60's when they would have been an essential part of the Danish modern setting, commonly used both at the dining table and in the living room. The pair have an elegant profile with a vaguely feline character. Standing 23.5cm (9.25 inches) tall, the sticks are designed to hold candles with a diameter of approximately 2cm (0.75 inch). They are in excellent condition.
