A vintage 1970s oxidised metal Danish modern pendant light designed and made by Holm Sørensen

This large vintage 70s multi-ringed Danish pendant lamp makes a bold design statement with its imposing size and richly textured appearance. Designed by veteran Danish lighting designer Holm Sørensen and produced by his own manufacturing company Holm Sørensen & Co, the lamp's nine polished copper rings have been flame cut to create the black serrated edges and the multiple oxidised colour effects seen across the metal bands.

The nine rings shield the bulb effectively, creating the cosy, dimmed fireside light and "hygge" atmosphere that was popular in Danish homes of the era. The lamp has a diameter of 40cm and a height of 32cm and is in excellent condition.
